I waited for him to come. I knew he was going to do it, and I knew she didn't want to get in the water, but we all knew it would be hilarious. In the end, we all got in and romped around in the crashing waves of the Golden Beach. 
Side note** I hadn't updated for awhile because a friend of mine in the last post recently killed himself. The boy looking at the praying mantis. And I couldn't bring myself to put in a new entry.

Oh Kim. I'm so sorry. I wish I could give you a hug (not that it would make anything better.) I guess the closest thing to a hug I can give you right now is let you know that my heart is hurting for you. I love and miss you. And i'm sorry you have to go through the loss of your friend.
Is that girl drinking from a plastic cup that is covered from the rain by a plastic bag??? Or is it a bagged drink, like capri sun?
So very sorry about your friend. There are few things in this life so difficult to make sense of and peace with. I'm glad you posted again, and, glad that you captured such a beautiful and honest moment of him on film.
